Carmen is a Managing Director in ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Sustainability Assurance practice and the leader at the ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø U.S. Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Assurance Delivery Center. Carmen is a key member in developing infrastructure to scale the firm’s Sustainability assurance capabilities and shaping the ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø U.S. approach to sustainability assurance. She is experienced in leading sustainability engagements, which include assurance of use of proceeds of green bonds, standalone greenhouse gas emissions reports, and full corporate responsibility reports. Carmen also specializes in sustainability reporting readiness assessment over key components of entity’s measurement and reporting process for GHG and other non-financial metrics, defining, and articulating the pre-conditions necessary to receive assurance, and assisted client to address any gaps on the road to assurance.

Carmen has served as ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø US representative on the World Economic Forum and Big 4 technical team for development of the Stakeholder Capitalism Metrics in support of consistent sustainability reporting of sustainable value creation.
