Our annual report

Financial year 2024 was another year with an outstanding result. With CHF 548.8 million our net revenues grew by 4.1% compared to prior year. We also achieved record gross revenues of CHF 709.8 million, an increase of 11.8% compared to prior year. The results come from our outstanding capabilities in the Audit and Tax and Legal areas, as well as the continued strong demand for our Financial Services and Advisory capabilities. This result demonstrates 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网鈥檚 relevance in the market and is proof of our successful multidisciplinary approach, client focus and our relentless will to challenge ourselves and deliver excellence in everything we do.

  • Audit and audit-related services provided a strong net revenue contribution of CHF 253.3 million, an increase of 4.8% compared to prior year, confirming our position as number 1 auditor of companies listed in the Swiss Stock Exchange SMI. Apart from the Audit portfolio we have also seen a continuous high demand for non-recurring / audit-related business and growing interest from our audit customers in non-financial assurance, especially in the ESG field.

  • Tax & Legal services demonstrated a strong performance resulting in a net revenue of CHF 130.1 million, an increase of 4.8% compared to prior year. Our expertise in tax is recognized in the market, which has again named 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 as top three tax expert for the fifth consecutive year*.听听

  • Advisory services posted net revenues of CHF 165.4 million, an increase of 2.6% compared to prior year in a challenging market environment. The Deal Advisory business saw again a strong performance despite a slow-down in the number of deals.

Our history

乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 in Switzerland

乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 Switzerland arose from the Z眉rcher Treuhand-Vereinigung as a result of a series of mergers. The organization was founded in 1910. Two years later, Z眉rcher Treuhand-Vereinigung鈥檚 name was changed to Fides Treuhand-Vereinigung. Schweizerische Kreditanstalt (SKA) then acquired a majority stake in 1928. A number of takeovers and mergers followed, which led to further changes to the name.

The company operated as 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 Fides Peat from 1987 onwards. Credit Suisse鈥檚 ownership ended after a management buyout in 1992 and the company became 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 AG in 2007. 2010 marked 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 Switzerland鈥檚 100th anniversary.

The founding fathers

When the industrial revolution of the late eighteenth and nineteenth centuries helped transform accounting into a profession, 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网鈥檚 founding fathers were center stage, pioneering the industry.

William Barclay Peat (the P in 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网) set up the firm of William Barclay Peat & Co. in London in 1891. In 1897, the US firm Marwick, Mitchell & Company got its start in New York City. The company was formed by James Marwick (the M in 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网) and Roger Mitchell. Meanwhile, in 1917, Piet Klynveld (the K in 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网) established Klynveld Kraayenhof & Company in Amsterdam. The last of our founding fathers, Reinhard Goerdeler (the G in 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网) comes into the story almost half a century later in 1979 as co-founder of Klynveld Main Goerdeler.
