Ramon started his career with 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 on 1 September 1988 in the audit practice in 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 in the Netherlands. In April 2002 he moved to Brazil initially to coordinate client relations with and audit of (subsidiaries of) Dutch clients in Brazil and from 2007 onward to coordinate the preparation for the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in Brazil. In July 2009 he became partner in 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 Brazil鈥檚 Department of Professional Practices (DPP) and a couple of year later also partner of 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 International Standards Group in London, UK. Since January 2020 he returned to Europe to coordinate the set-up of EMA DPP, the regional DPP coordinating the compliance with DPP requirements set by the International Firm in the European, Middle Eastern and African region of 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网. In Brazil, Ramon was a member of the Committee for Inclusion and Diversity of 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 in Brazil from January 2017 until his return to Europe, responsible for LGBTQI+ inclusion.
