Kevin is National Leader, Asset Management - Tax with over 34 years鈥� experience providing tax advisory services for alternative investment fund clients including distressed debt, private equity funds, hedge funds, venture capital and fund of funds as well as SEC registered investment products.聽 He is also the Tax Business Unit Partner in Charge of the Southwest, which includes Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma and Louisiana. 聽Previously, he was National Segment Leader for Private Equity Funds and led the M&A Tax Practice in the Dallas office. Prior to joining 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 in 2002, Kevin was a Principal with Arthur Andersen and a member of their Transaction Advisory Services group.
Professional and industry experience
Kevin has worked extensively on the formation and operation of private equity funds, investment fund structuring, distressed debt acquisitions and loan market discount, and portfolio company acquisitions, restructurings, dispositions and recapitalizations.
Kevin serves as Global Lead Tax Partner on some of the Firm鈥檚 largest fund clients, providing tax consulting and compliance services to their funds, general partner entities and management companies. As Global Lead Tax Partner, Kevin oversees all Tax services provided by 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 around the world to the various offices and affiliates of these funds.
Kevin is a frequent instructor for the firm鈥檚 internal training courses including 鈥淭ax Issues in Alternative Investment Funds鈥� and 鈥淎lternative Investment Funds Tax Immersion Course鈥� as well as a frequent speaker at external asset management conferences and events.
