Since joining 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 in 1997,聽Michio聽has been providing tax compliance and consulting services to numerous Japanese clients and has represented many Japanese clients before the IRS and various state authorities. Michio is responsible for a broad range of Japanese-owned clients doing business in the United聽States as single entities or in joint venture, and has extensive experience with a wide range of complex tax matters relating to his clients鈥� businesses.
Michio鈥檚 current and past clients include leaders in the pharmaceutical, telecommunication, global manufacturing, oil & gas, and financial services industries. He聽has advised on many transactions and provided both tax due diligence and tax structuring advice in several industries.
Michio is a frequent speaker at seminars on various tax issues affecting Japanese-owned companies doing business in the United聽States and is a coauthor of 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网鈥檚聽Q&A U.S. Tax Handbook. He holds a BA聽degree from Aoyama Gakuin University, a BA聽degree from the University of Kansas, and a Master of Accounting & Information Systems degree from the University of Kansas. Michio聽is a Certified Public Accountant in Kansas.
