Julie is a partner in 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网鈥檚 Department of Professional Practice. Julie has specialized in the interpretation of accounting standards and the development of related guidance for over 20 years, including experience in South Africa, Germany, New Zealand, Russia and the UK.
Julie鈥檚 areas of expertise include business combinations, fair value measurement, and leases; with in-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
Prior to joining the Department of Professional Practice, Julie was a partner in the UK firm of 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网, and COO of the 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 International Standards Group (based in London). Prior to that, Julie was a partner in the Russian firm of 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网. Having also worked for 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 in South Africa and New Zealand, Julie has considerable experience in dealing with diverse perspectives on the interpretation of accounting standards.
Julie specializes in accounting-based communications. For a number of years she was responsible for 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网鈥檚 flagship publication on International Financial Reporting Standards, Insights into IFRS; and she remains co-author of 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网鈥檚 publication, IFRS compared to US GAAP.
Julie works across a number of industries, but has particular focus on Consumer Markets.
