Kareem brings over 18 years of professional services experience and focuses in the areas of emerging technology risk (AI in Control, Blockchain, Cloud), IT internal audit, IT governance, internal controls and IT risk management services. Utilizing these emerging technologies, Kareem supports his clients' business strategies and objectives across various markets. Kareem leads many IT advisory and internal audit services across Canada and globally.

In this role, Kareem helps clients with developing and executing their IT internal audit plans and delivering consulting projects including emerging IT risk areas such as RPA Assurance, AI in Control, Blockchain Assurance, Crisis Management, IT Services Management and IT Incident Management, Cyber Security maturity assessments, Mobile Governance/ Security, Data Governance/ management, Cloud Governance, Software Asset Management and others. One of the most pressing challenges clients face is around the governance of technologies. Kareem is making a difference by using ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø’s framework for digital transformation risk assessments, which not only highlights areas that are under control, but parts of the business that are over controlled, this help reprioritize efforts and resources to different parts of the business.
