Carlos has over 20 years of experience focusing in providing mergers and acquisitions advisory services to financial and strategic buyers investing in Latin America. He is currently based in Miami (during 2005-2008, Carlos was based in Costa Rica and headed the Central America Deal Advisory Practice). He also leads the LATAM Desk, a Miami-based center of excellence dedicated to providing best practices, support and training for the region.
Carlos has worked in US and cross-border transactions across various industries in the region such as technology, consumer products manufacturing, retail, and health care. Carlos has assisted in transactions in virtually all Latin American countries including Mexico, South America (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Ecuador, Colombia, and Peru), Central America (Panama, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua) and the Caribbean (Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico among others).聽
