Jen Plotnick is a Partner in the ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Audit practice and serves as Boston’s Venture Capital Life Sciences Leader and the Co-National Leader of the Venture Capital Life Sciences practice within ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Private Enterprise. 

Jen is a Boston-based and has 20 years of experience providing audit and accounting services.  She specializes in serving pre-clinical and clinical venture-backed life science companies from their initial audits through IPO and as public companies.  She also has experience serving commercialized pharmaceutical companies. 

Jen collaborates with her clients to address accounting issues related to stock-based compensation, convertible securities, complex debt and equity transactions, and collaboration agreements.  Jen has supported various audit clients through their initial public offerings and secondary offerings.  Jen has also served as a member of the New England and Upstate New York Regional Professional Practice Network, where she focused on assisting engagement teams with complex accounting and auditing inquires, assisting teams through transactions, and facilitating trainings and other support to enhance audit quality within the region.

Jen has both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from Bentley University.  Jen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.  She is a licensed CPA in Massachusetts.
