- Leading technical accounting meetings with various companies related to the deal structuring and analysis of complex debt and capital transactions (including convertible debt and preferred stock, accelerate share repurchase programs, credit facilities, registered forward contract)
- Supporting 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 teams in analyzing accounting considerations for clients undergoing Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings (topics include debt and equity modifications and extinguishments, refinancing related costs, success fees, exit financing)
- Leading the analyses and documentation of the accounting considerations for companies undergoing an initial public offering (including SPAC transactions) related to their debt and capital structure (including earnings per share and disclosures)
- Educating 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 clients and assisting them in navigating and documenting the accounting implications of various financial instruments (including warrants, options, forward contracts), the consolidation of various entities, share-based payments arrangements with employees and non-employees, and acquisitions.
Within 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网, James is also the lead director of the Accounting Advisory Services Debt/Equity Topic Team and has his Bachelor of Science in Accounting form the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
