Tim Nichols is a senior manager in ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø LLP’s Washington National Tax office corporate tax group. His practice focuses on a variety of corporate and other tax matters, including tax-free reorganizations, taxable acquisitions, spin-offs, bankruptcy and other restructuring transactions, and consolidated group issues. Tim has assisted taxpayers in the asset management industry on a variety of corporate tax issues, including acquisitions and restructuring, section 1202 qualification and preservation, and the accumulated earnings and personal holding company taxes.

Tim is a graduate of Georgetown’s Tax LL.M. program. Prior to joining ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø, Tim worked in private practice for several years assisting small and mid-size businesses with tax and other general corporate matters. Tim has spoken on corporate tax topics both internally and externally, including at events sponsored by the American Bar Association, the D.C. Bar Association, and the Tax Executives Institute.
