Derek M Love
Managing Director, Tax, SALT Asset Mgmt
Derek is a managing director with the 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 State and Local Tax practice based in Kansas City. He advises clients on a wide range of state and local tax matters, including planning, structuring, dispute resolution, and compliance.
Derek tackles clients鈥� SALT issues relating to income, franchise and gross receipts taxes, transaction taxes, and special excise taxes. He has worked with clients in the manufacturing, banking, technology, and financial/professional services industries, among others. He has also counseled clients on tax disputes and represented clients before state and local tax authorities across the United States. Prior to joining 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网, Derek practiced law in Chicago, focusing on state tax planning and litigation.
