Mr. Hart leads ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø’s Financial Services Regulatory and Compliance Risk Network in the U.S. In that capacity, he supports clients across the financial services and regulatory sectors to devise and implement large scale programs that combine driving commercial benefits (lower cost, greater scalability and effectiveness of compliance and risk management programs) while improving alignment with regulatory expectations and improved risk-taking. He has:

• formulated and spearheaded an effort to transform operational risk management across the first and second lines of a major financial institution to align cost and value, while simultaneously implementing new capabilities to significantly improve the first and second linesâ€� ability to proactively manage non-financial risks including the deployment of machine learning technologies and risk/compliance convergence
• reduced costs associated with operational risk and compliance programs through organizational, information and data, methods, and technology change
• formulated and implemented new strategies for transforming how organizations incorporate operational resilience into existing first and second line BAU functions
• outlined and implemented strategies to improve transparency around conduct-oriented risks
• designed and implemented quantitative and qualitative frameworks to aggregate operational risk profiles and link top-down articulated risk appetite with bottoms-up generated risk profiles
• formulated strategies to improve enterprise risk management, including organizational design, risk framework enhancement, and new tools and information
• reduced the cost and operating burden of front office surveillance and supervisory frameworks while improving the monitoring effectiveness of such programs
• optimized commercial banking, sales and trading and wealth businesses on a Basel 2.5 and III basis
• created and deployed enterprise-wide dashboards to highlight drivers of risk, capital and performance for business.
