Jennifer Gray
Director, Washington National Tax
Jennifer Gray is a director in the Federal Legislative & Regulatory Services (FLRS) group in 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 LLP鈥檚 Washington National Tax office.听 Prior to rejoining the group in 2014, Jennifer spent听six years as the primary advisor to United States Senators serving on the Senate Finance, Senate Budget, and Senate Commerce Committees.听 Her responsibilities included developing, analyzing, and managing all legislative priorities and initiatives for the Senators in the areas of federal tax, trade, pension, and budget policy.听 During her tenure in the Senate, Jennifer authored many tax legislative initiatives that were enacted into law by incorporation into a number of pieces of legislative including: the American Jobs Creation Act, the Pension Funding Equity Act of 2004, and the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Act.
As part of 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网鈥檚 FLRS group, Jennifer gives clients immediate notification about breaking developments in tax legislation or federal tax regulations; coordinates the early identification of specific client issues concerning legislation, regulations, rulings, and other administrative pronouncements; helps clients prioritize responses to proposed legislation and regulations; provides insight and advice to clients in anticipation of possible legislative or regulatory changes and the impact of such changes on client tax planning; assists clients in the legislative and regulatory process; and conducts 鈥渞oundtable briefings鈥� and discussions.
Jennifer has a JD degree from Harvard Law School and a BA degree from Centre College of Kentucky.听
