Lani Chou
Director, Information Reporting & Withholding Tax
Lani Chou is a Director with the Business Tax Services group of 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 LLP in the Boston Office. She currently specializes in consulting with the Information Reporting & Withholding Tax Service practice. Lani advises several global financial institutions and multinational corporations on how to implement, manage, and monitor compliance obligations and systems with regard to United States withholding and reporting, Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act, and Common Reporting Standard requirements.
Prior to working at 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网, Lani consulted for private equity funds, multinational organizations, and tax technology firms advising on information reporting and withholding. Earlier in her career, she worked with another Big Four firm in their information reporting and withholding practice.
Lani holds an LLM degree in banking and financial law with a concentration in securities transactions from Boston University School of Law, a JD degree from Suffolk University Law School, and a BA degree in political science with a concentration in accounting from Boston College.
