Marion is a Managing Director in ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø’s State and Local Tax Practice, focused primarily on unclaimed property as part of ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø’s National Unclaimed Property Practice. Marion has more than seventeen years of experience in unclaimed property consulting and compliance matters focused on clients in the Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Retail, Communications, Healthcare, and Transportation Markets.

During the course of her seventeen year career, Marion became a trusted advisor to holders across a broad range of industries while providing unclaimed property risk mitigation, asset recovery, compliance, and advisory services.  Her experience includes oil and gas firms, transportation companies, manufacturers, retailers, healthcare companies, REITs, telecommunication companies, and insurance companies.  

She specializes in designing and implementing internal unclaimed property compliance processes to capture information necessary to comply with annual unclaimed property reporting requirements in an effort to develop beneficial relationships necessary for statutory compliance.  This is accomplished through an integrated approach of risk mitigation, policy and procedure development, regulatory compliance system design and improvement, and asset recovery.

She has also worked extensively with all jurisdictions, including Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Texas, as well as the third party audit firms or parties acting on behalf of the states regarding unclaimed property matters such as audits, self-audits, and voluntary disclosures.

Prior to joining ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø, Marion served as a Director at Ryan, LLC, where she specialized in providing unclaimed property expertise in the areas of regulatory compliance, compliance system design and improvement, policy and procedure development, audit management, and voluntary disclosure negotiations to holders across multiple industries.
