Romano has extensive experience in supporting clients with assurance and advisory services predominantly in the DLT industry. Specifically, Romano has supported clients in assessing their DLT-related projects with regard to applicable financial market regulations, obtaining the relevant FINMA license or acting as their appointed financial or regulatory auditor.
Romano has more than 10 years鈥� experience in advising and auditing regulated and non-regulated companies in the financial services sector with a focus on distributed ledger technology. With his proven experience in both audit and advisory for financial institutions, Romano is also in charge of steering go-to-market activities for Financial Services and actively contributes to the development of the legal and regulatory framework in Switzerland.
Since October 2013, Romano has been co-leading the working group for accounting, tax and structuring at the Crypto Valley Association (CVA).
Since June 2023 Romano, has also been a member of the specialist committee on technology of the Asset Manager Association Switzerland (AMAS).
