Ashley is the head of Governance Risk and Compliance Services for ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø South Africa. He started his career in 1993 in the Pretoria office as an articled clerk and completed his training contract in 1995. In 2000 Ashley was appointed a partner and has had several roles in the firm including leading the ERM team and the Sarbanes Oxley team in South Africa. He has delivered a number of large multi-national ERM and Sarbanes Oxley implementation projects. Ashley transferred to the Internal Audit business unit in 2002 where he is responsible for delivering risk-based, operational and financial compliance audits. Ashley is the lead partner on a number of key ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø internal audit accounts, ensuring best practise and global leading practice is delivered by the internal audit teams Ashley currently leads the Internal Audit network of ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø for Europe, Middle East and Africa managing the overall coordination of services across the region. He is also member of ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø’s Global Internal Audit Steering Group. Ashley has more than 29 yearsâ€� experience in various industries and services.
