James Wilson is a Partner in the Technology Consulting practice at ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø in Singapore, where he also serves as the Head of the Consumer & Retail sector. With over 20 years of experience, James has led numerous large-scale, technology-enabled business transformation engagements across a diverse range of industries. He specialises in transforming technology service delivery and operating models through strategic technology implementation, process redesign, and third-party sourcing.

As one of the leaders within the Technology Consulting team, James brings deep expertise in bridging the gap between business needs and technology delivery. He is known for his ability to navigate complex, high-stakes environments and build trusted relationships with stakeholders to drive impactful outcomes.

Throughout his career, James has delivered major transformation programmes for leading global clients. These include designing a comprehensive technology strategy for a FTSE 100 energy company to enhance customer centricity, leading a $500M SAP S/4HANA programme for a global defence and engineering firm, and transforming a global retail organisation’s outsourced technology delivery into a unified in-sourced model. He has also managed politically sensitive cost optimisation programmes, such as a zero-based budgeting initiative that achieved 30% cost savings on a £140M IT spend, and led critical risk remediation through platforms like CyberArk for pharmaceutical clients under tight regulatory timelines.

James’s areas of expertise span technology sourcing and cost management, vendor and supplier management, integration, service integration and management, technology operating model design, and enterprise-wide programme management. He has worked across sectors including public services, transport, legal, and life sciences, supporting clients both in Singapore and globally in realising the benefits of modern technology strategies.
