Faraz Ilyas qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001 and has been associated with 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 Pakistan for a significant part of his career. Faraz was admitted to the partnership in 2011 and, since January 2024, has been serving as the Head of QRM and Ethics & Independence Partner (EIP). Over the years, he has also contributed to the Middle East South Asia (MESA) Quality & Risk Management initiatives. Additionally, he served as the Head of People for 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 Pakistan for three years, up to 31 December 2023, and also led the firm's Business Process Outsourcing function during the same period.

He served in the Audit function of 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 Pakistan from 1995 to 2003, followed by a six-month employment to 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 Dubai. Between 2003 and 2006, he gained valuable industry experience in the cement and sugar sectors before rejoining 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 Pakistan in 2006 in the Quality and Risk Management (QRM) function.
