John Anyanwu is the Partner and Lead of the Cyber and Privacy practice in ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Nigeria and has over 19 years management, technology and risk consulting experience.

He has specific responsibility for building cyber security competences and capabilities within ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Nigeria and Africa as a region. He is responsible for leading engagement teams to assist ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø clients in assessing the adequacy of their cyber security and privacy controls, as well as cyber security and privacy transformation initiatives.

He has led teams spanning multiple geographies including Nigeria, Ghana, Gabon, Guinea, Mali, South Africa, Kenya, Zambia, and Mozambique and worked with ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø teams in US, UK, Netherlands, Germany, Finland, Cyprus, Portugal, and India, with industry focus across Energy, Financial Services, Telecommunications, Consumer/Industrial and Government sectors.

John is also the National IT Security Officer (NITSO) for ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Nigeria as a Firm within the ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Global Network, and has responsibility for implementing strategies and measures to secure the Firm’s vital information assets.
