Chan Chee Keong is the Head of Risk Consulting at ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø in Malaysia. In this role, he is responsible for managing several business units including Governance, Risk and Compliance Services, Financial Risk Management, and Accounting Advisory Services and more, supporting clients.in identifying, managing, and mitigating business and operational risks, ensuring their resilience and long-term sustainability.

With over 27 years of experience at ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø, Chee Keong has built a strong track record in providing audit and assurance services to public listed companies and multinational corporations across sectors including automotive, food and beverages, oil and gas, fast moving consumer goods, industrial chemical, palm oil, gloves and more. His broad industry experience has given him deep insights into business operations, risks and the internal processes and procedures implemented to manage those risks. In the course of his work, Chee Keong regularly assesses both business and operational risks, evaluating the adequacy of controls and the impact on both financials and non-financials, to support sound decision-making and operational resilience.

He has also contributed to various due diligence engagements, including reviews of cash flow forecasts and pro forma consolidated financial positions in support of debt and sukuk issuances, as well as rights issues.

In addition to his role as Head of Risk Consulting, as ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø¡¯s Head of Industrial Markets sector, he is also responsible for building the firm¡¯s presence in the sector through the development of tailored services, thought leadership, and go-to-market strategies for Malaysia¡¯s largest industrial manufacturers.

Outside of work, Chee Keong is an avid sportsman. He previously served as the President and Partner-in-Charge of the ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Sports Club, reflecting his passion for promoting wellness and teamwork within the firm.
