At ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø, we believe that sustainability is not just a responsibility—it's a powerful opportunity. Throughout our value chain, we have the potential to protect and create long-term value for people, the environment, and society at large. By embedding sustainability into everything we do, we contribute to healthy business operations and positive societal development.
As part of a globally aligned network, ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø has launched a comprehensive Impact Plan to outline shared goals and commitments linked to sustainability. Our local efforts in Latvia fully align with these global ambitions, which are rooted in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the principles of the United Nations Global Compact. We are proud that ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø SLL became a member of the UN Global Compact in 2024, reaffirming our commitment to responsible and ethical business practices.
Together with our stakeholders—including clients, public institutions, and especially our employees—we have identified 15 key material areas that shape our sustainability focus. These areas were selected based on where we can make the most significant positive impact. This year, we refined our focus areas by dividing “Environmental Sustainability into two distinct categories: Climate Change and Biodiversity and Sustainable Operations. Two additional areas were introduced—Public Policy Engagement and Responsible Supply Chain—reflecting our increasing engagement in shaping policy and ensuring ethical supply practices.
These 15 material areas are grouped into four pillars that form the foundation of our Impact Plan: Governance, People, Planet, and Prosperity.
At ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Latvia, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We are especially proud of the strong gender balance across our management and senior teams, which reflects our commitment to inclusive leadership and thoughtful decision-making. We view sustainability not only through the lens of environmental impact, but also in how we care for our team and shape a responsible organizational culture.
Our definition of a sustainable work environment goes beyond physical space—it includes mental and emotional well-being, flexible working hours, and a culture of mutual respect. We are dedicated to fostering a safe, supportive, and ergonomic workplace that promotes health and resilience for all employees.
To stay at the forefront of our profession, we prioritize continuous learning and development. Every ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Latvia employee is empowered with the opportunity to grow through hands-on experience and structured learning. On average, each team member spends approximately 80 hours per year on training, reflecting our commitment to ongoing development and lifelong learning in the flow of everyday work.
Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity are not simply aspirations—they are embedded into our values and culture. We believe that the unique experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds of our people strengthen our ability to innovate and remain relevant in a changing world. "Come as you are" isn’t just a slogan—it’s our promise to every employee that they can be themselves, be respected, and thrive.
Creating a space where everyone can contribute fully and confidently is key to being a trusted advisor to our clients and a responsible corporate citizen. Diversity gives us the strength to drive meaningful change in society, and with that strength comes the responsibility to ensure a truly inclusive workplace.
At ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Latvia, sustainability is not a separate initiative—it’s an integral part of who we are and how we operate. By combining global alignment with local action, we are proud to be contributing to a more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient future for Latvia and beyond.
