Issue analysis regarding adoption of cloud
This report addresses the main issues regarding cloud adoption and benchmarks foreign cases to seek implementation strategies suitable for Korea.
In the 5th Regulation Reform Minister conference which took place on May 18, 2016, the government decided to amend parts of regulations in the finance, medical and public service fields to activate cloud adoption. The government also enforced the 鈥楢ct on the Development of Cloud Computing and Protection of its Users鈥� from September 2015 and finalized the 鈥楰-ICT cloud computing activation plan鈥� on November 2015. In spite of such multi-dimensional efforts exerted by the government to activate cloud adoption in Korea, the cloud adoption rate is still insignificant.
