Experience

As the head of Tax Division at 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 Korea, Hak Sup has been responsible for managing 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网鈥檚 global efforts on advising tax for a number of the firm鈥檚 largest and most diverse multinational clients, interacting with the clients鈥� management. With more than 26 years of experiences at 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 Korea, he specializes in working with global companies in various industries, including multinational banking and investment funds and financial institutions with extensive experiences in advising efficient investment/ business/ tax strategy.

Before joining Tax Division, he led Deal Advisory Division 2 and Banking and Finance Division 3 of 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 Korea. He served as the head of Deal Advisory Division 2, advising the clients to execute their M&A strategy in a broad range of transactions, such as restructuring, NPL and asset securitization advisory, work-out M&A, infrastructure transactions, etc. He also assisted the multinational clients in a number of global investment and divestiture transactions, providing financial due diligence services for cross-border M&A projects to foreign investors pursuing for investment opportunities in Korea.

While serving at Banking and Finance Division, he had been on a secondment to 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 Sydney office for 3 years from 2000 to further develop cross-border opportunities and returned to 乐鱼（Leyu）体育官网 Korea in 2003. As a partner in-charge of Banking and Finance Division, he performed various accounting and transaction consulting projects, such as IFRS conversion, US GAAP conversions, SOX, restructuring projects, etc.
