Laura is a Partner in ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø’s Regions East Global Mobility Services (GMS) practice. She has over 15 yearsâ€� experience in Canadian and US personal tax and expatriate taxation. Laura is based out of ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø’s Ottawa office but has primary responsibility for clients all over Eastern and Western Canada.

Laura assists companies and their employees who are travelling cross-border, working with a variety of industries, including technology, defense, construction, consulting, energy, crown corporations and non-profit organizations. She leads the Work from Anywhere (WFA) team nationally and is a member of ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø’s global WFA team, having been involved in advising many clients on their WFA policies and the various issues to be addressed because of cross-jurisdictional remote work. 

Laura also leads “Work Environment Discoveryâ€�, a cross-functional team of work environment specialists that advise clients on a variety of matters related to the work environment. 

A graduate of the University of Waterloo’s Master of Accounting program, Laura is a Canadian trained CPA, CA and holds her US CPA designation.
