ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø

Anil is an Associate in the Employment and Labour Law group of ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Law in Toronto. He predominantly practices Health and Safety Law, defending both large global entities and smaller, local companies from charges under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). Anil has appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice, representing clients in the manufacturing, mining, construction and homebuilding industries amongst others.

Furthermore, Anil has represented clients at the Ontario Labour Relations Board (OLRB) and Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario (HRTO) to ensure that their issues are properly raised and defended. Anil is also actively involved in workplace investigations, Coroner’s inquests and developing mock trials and investigations, working closely with the senior leadership of companies to ensure that the highest standards of safety are met. Anil has spoken at safety conferences and published articles relating to the latest safety updates and case law developments.

Prior to becoming an Employment and Labour lawyer, Anil was developing a general corporate and commercial practice, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, corporate finance, securities law matters and other commercial transactions at ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Law in Toronto.

Anil completed both his summer student and articling terms with ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Law where he gained experience in contentious and non-contentious issues in a variety of practice groups. Outside of law, Anil is a long-suffering Tottenham Hotspur fan and avid traveler.
