James Loewen is a Partner and the National Sector Lead for Asset Management. He specializes in Financial Statement Auditing, US GAAP, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Securities Offerings. James has been with ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø for over 20 years, all of which have been spent within the financial services practice and specifically focused on asset management. His clients include a number of asset managers and all type of investment funds, including private equity and hedge funds both domestic and off-shore. James is the former Chair of the IFIC Accounting Advisory Working Group and is a member of a CICA task force examining financial reporting by Canadian investment funds.
