Jessica joined ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø in 2022, in the ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Banarra, Human Rights & Social Impact team. She became Trusted AI Lead in 2024. Prior to ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø, Jessica worked for 14 years at the world’s largest multidisciplinary scientific and engineering membership organisation where she directed a program dedicated to addressing the intersections of ethics, human rights, law, science, and technology.
As Trusted AI Lead, Jessica develops and supports best practice human-centred and responsible approaches in the design, delivery and deployment of artificial intelligence products and services by ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø. She also collaborates and partners with external experts to continuously evolve ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹Ù꿉۪s Trusted AI policies and practices.
Jessica informed the development of the first ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Trusted AI Impact Assessment against which KymChat (ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø's generative AI agent) was assessed prior to deployment for the purpose of identifying and addressing any risks inherent in the system.
