In 2019, he was appointed as the NSW Chair and acts as ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹Ù꿉۪s Ambassador in the market. He leads over 300 NSW Partners and 4,000 people across four office locations and is the senior representative on state matters including strategic growth, operational and reputational issues.
Doug became the Head of Sport for ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø in January 2025. His national team of multi-disciplinary specialists includes current or retired athletes who have developed diverse professional skills across consulting, audit, tax, deals and infrastructure. Together they support business organisations across many sporting codes within the sport, major venues and events industries.
He regularly interfaces with the firm’s most senior client leaders through attending and hosting events for CEOs, Non-Executive Directors, ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Alumni as well as the leaders of communities in which we live, work and serve.
Doug grew up in regional Queensland and NSW, has a background in rugby league, rugby union and surf lifesaving and a deep passion for sport and Australian sporting success.
He joined ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø in 1998 and became a partner in 2008.
