Abhisek Bhattacharyya brings over 20 years of experience to the partner team, including technology & business risk advisory, enterprise resource planning, Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) management technology implementation and IT assurance. He joined ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø in 2019 after a five-year stint with another Big Four firm in the Middle East. He has also previously worked in professional services and with Oracle in India, Canada and the UK. At ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø, Abhisek has been responsible for conceptualizing and developing the firm’s technology-enabled external audit & audit analytics framework, using globally accepted methodologies in both the Lower Gulf and Saudi Levant member firms. Shortly before taking on the role as partner, he was appointed as Head of IT Audit for both firms â€� the largest of ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø’s IT audit teams within the Middle East and South Asia region. Abhisek also heads the Lower Gulf firm’s IT Internal Audit and IT Attestation service offerings. Abhisek’s appointment as a partner is aligned with ÀÖÓ㣨Leyu£©ÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Lower Gulf’s innovation goals. He and his team will continue building new capabilities in audit using cutting-edge technology, and add value to our clientsâ€� assurance programs.
